THE FREE TOWN GUIDE ABOUT CHARD FOR CHARD

PRODUCED QUARTERLY:  SPRING • SUMMER • AUTUMN • WINTER

Like so many provincial towns, Chard has much to offer, but not necessarily the right publication to promote the town and its surrounding area. We saw an opportunity to bring a fresh approach to tackle this.

The Chard Flyer was launched in September 2017 as a quarterly Town Guide. Now well in our 5th year, we have just completed distribution of our 19th edition for Spring 2022.

We love success stories, and try to promote new businesses, new initiatives for our town, businesses which are expanding, and welcome any contributions which we may be able to publish. Our graphic designer team have worked very hard to create colourful and interesting adverts and editorial. Our editorial team are out picking up leads, stories and photos.

Our readers and advertisers love it!

The Chard Flyer has just “come of age”. Now four years old, and growing strongly…..

Every quarter, over 10,000 copies of our A5 free town guide are distributed to every business and private address in the TA20 postcode.

We grew from the need for a regular and reliable Free Chard Town Guide. The Chard Flyer covers the whole of the TA20 postcode, with local stories, local photos, a Chard Town Map, and local service providers. This is a local Chard publication, dedicated to all that is good about Chard and the TA20 postcode.

We cover Chard; Tatworth; Perry Street; Winsham; Cricket St Thomas; Combe St Nicholas; Whitestaunton and parts of The Blackdown Hills.

In future editions we hope to include articles about the villages around Chard, and welcome your contributions and suggestions for how we can achieve this. Please email us chard@theantiquestourist.com.”
